Jonty Robinson is a freelance theatre technician based out of Palmerston North, New Zealand. Primarily working in Lighting, Video, LED Screens and Projection, Jonty has worked in multiple different fields. Theatre is Jonty's passion, however he continues to work on multiple different events. These include live music performance, videography for multiple use-cases and live streaming. 

Jonty was one of the lead editors/planners for the 2021 coverage of the Professionals Gravel and Tar, a cycling event held in the Manawatu. This included building packages for social media, Sky TV NZ and Global Cycling Network. Currently, he is working on sport live streaming for local matches in Palmerston North complete with graphics packages. 

He also works with multiple theatre companies in Palmerston North and has worked in all the major theatres. Fresh off of Winding Up at Centrepoint Theatre and the Papaioea Arts festival where he was the festival technician, in his 4 years of theatre experience, he has gained a lot of experience. Jonty completed his Level 3 NZC in Event and Entertainment Operations through Skills Active Aotearoa and recieved the 2019 Community Theatre Technical Achievement Award - Youth from ETNZ for his work in community theatre.
